I have always loved my motorcycle, i built it myself from scratch ordering all the parts and having them all custom made to fit my needs and how i wanted them to look. I got into building my bike after visiting a friend of mine who at the time was a driving instructor, he showed me his garage where he had started to build a motorcycle but had not got round to finishing it. I thought it was amazing how someone could do that all by themselves.

I was an hgv driver at the time and was getting a bit bored with doing the same things day in and day out so i was looking for something different and this definitely filled my desire for something new. My first bike was nothing special but i still loved the feeling that i could tell people that i made it myself. I rode that bike everywhere to show it off.

I purchased a little workshop from where to do all the building from and being an hgv driver i was able to use my vehicle for transferring parts to and from my workshop. As i got a better name for myself in the customized motorcycle trade i was having orders streaming in from all kinds of people for me to build a motorbike just how they had always wanted theirs to look. I had to hire 4 new people and train them up to be part of the team as i wasn't able to keep up with the heavy workload on my own.

I would never go back to being an hgv driver as i love this job way more than i ever did driving round in my truck. If i can't finish on time then at least i can work through the night if needed to get it finished. I do everything at the workshop apart from the painting of the bikes for that i have a very good friend who does that for me at his workshop.

There doesn't seem to be any slowing down of my work yet and i can only hope that it stays this way. I already have plans to buy a bigger and better workshop in the pipeline.
