Great Finance Stories

I have been wanting to learn to drive for some time now, so when my friend put me in contact with a driving school that she used, and passed with first time, I jumped at the chance to get some lessons. I had been looking for a driving school in my area which had a good success rate, and they seemed brilliant.

I was really nervous before my first lesson and part of me kept trying to talk myself out of it, but I went, and so glad I did. My instructor was brilliant. He was so calm and patient with me, and didn't seem to mind going over things a few times so I could properly understand them. He drew little diagrams for me which helped a lot too, I find it easier to vision things and actually see what I am supposed to be doing, rather than just be told. He also has these cute little picture cards with diagrams already on them, which he uses a lot too.

I did my theory test a few months back and passed. I was very nervous about doing the multiple choice part but I had done a lot of revision before hand so I was fully prepared and got full marks. My driving instructor was well impressed with me and has now started to prepare me for my actual driving test. I'm hoping that I can pass my test before Christmas. My partner who is a hgv driver has every confidence in me. He drives 5 days a week delivering goods all over the country, so I have been practicing with him, and he says he is very confident I will make a good driver.

I'm very grateful to my friend for putting me in contact with a driving school, as I would have probably just left it for as long as I could, or until I had to have a driving licence for a job. I feel very confident under my tutors instruction. I just wish I would have gone to a driving school a few years earlier, so I would be already driving now, how ever I am really enjoying my lessons and can't wait till I pass, but I will miss my lessons with my tutor. I hope to get a car similar, if not identical to the one he has, as I feel confident in it, and it's lovely to drive. My partners caris quite big and sometimes I do feel like I am driving a bus.
